Meet Dr Clem

Dr Clem is a qualified Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with extensive experience in small animal medicine and a special interest in integrative therapies. After 20 years of working with dogs, cats and wildlife, she developed a strong interest in collaborative approaches to pain management and mobility support, which led her to undertake formal training in veterinary acupuncture.

Her goal is to provide compassionate, holistic care that enhances each pet’s comfort and quality of life. Dr Clem works closely with a pet’s regular veterinarian to ensure continuity of care and optimal treatment outcomes.

My approach

Veterinary acupuncture is a recognised therapeutic modality used to support healing, reduce pain, and improve function in companion animals. Fine needles are placed in specific points to stimulate nerves, muscles and connective tissue.

Common conditions treated:

  • Arthritis and degenerative joint diseases

  • Spinal pain, IVDD and nerve injuries

  • Post-surgical recovery and rehabilitation

  • Muscle pain and stiffness

  • Anxiety support

  • Chronic illnesses requiring integrative care

Dr Clem’s approach centres on calm, gentle handling to support each pet throughout treatment. She uses evidence-based techniques and develops individualised treatment plans tailored to each animal’s specific needs. Throughout the process, she maintains clear and compassionate communication with pet owners and referring veterinarians to ensure continuity of care and the best possible outcomes.

All services are provided at the pet’s home, allowing treatments to be delivered in the comfort and familiarity of their own environment.
